Vision Of Truth Outreach Ministries was birthed by The Holy Spirit into it’s founder Evangelist, Singer/Entertainer Gerry Thompson. Following his conversion two years earlier, one night early in 1993 he was awoken from his sleep at about 1.am. At that time it was his intent to start an outreach ministry. He struggled within himself to find a name for this ministry, on that particular night The Holy Spirit told him to name the ministry Vision Of Truth.

Following this leading of the Holy Spirit, and in obedience to God, Gerry produced six programs entitled Vision of Truth which was aired on the Vision Television Network covering all of Canada, that year.

During the short tenure of this program his telephone lines were flooded with prayer requests, and calls of encouragement from the viewing public whose lives had been touched by his testimony. However due to lack of funding the program was taken off the air, but the mandate given to him by God never left his heart.
